The AZS Poznań tennis section, founded on November 5, 1919 at the University of Poznań, is one of the club's oldest and most successful sections. During the interwar period, its players won numerous championship titles. After resuming its activities in 1945, the section supported both beginners and professional tennis players. Today it continues to play an important role, organizing training sessions, tournaments and developing young talents.
