In short—it’s a great place. We found TENES through a recommendation from a friend who said it was the top spot on Warsaw’s tennis scene, where she felt the atmosphere of a real club and community. After a few months, I can definitely confirm that. The attitude toward members is fantastic—we had two sons (ages 3.5 and 2.5) whom we wanted to sign up for Tenisówka classes. Everywhere else, we were told they couldn’t be together because the younger one wouldn’t be able to keep up—only at TENES did they invite both of them to a trial class, and since then they’ve been training together every week (I’d like to thank the coaches—Kasia, Kornel, Kacper, and Marcin—for their fantastic approach). During that time, I can participate in group classes—there are plenty of them, which means making up for absences is no problem at all—the groups are divided by skill level, and the coaches always tailor the lesson plan to the participants’ abilities (kudos to Marcin, Robert, Łukasz, and Krystian, with whom I’ve had the opportunity to train so far). Plus, there are many tournaments—I participated in one of them—great organization and a friendly atmosphere. In just a few months, I’ve met many sparring partners—including a neighbor from the apartment next door in Żoliborz (!). Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to cover all the most important points. I recommend it 100%—especially since this is review number 100!
