I had a really nice time. The water was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the salad at the bar was delicious. The staff was friendly. I recommend it.

I’m a regular at the courts; I play 9 out of 10 matches at Morskie Oko. As an exception, due to an unexpected illness, I wanted to cancel or reschedule by a few days the reservation I had for today from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.—which are less busy hours—but I couldn’t do so because of the policy that cancellations aren’t allowed less than 24 hours in advance. I called after 10:30 a.m. to explain the situation and try to work something out, but the front desk firmly replied that it wasn’t possible and that I’d have to pay for the time slot. I replied that I’d think it over and let them know (to check with my opponent if he’d be willing to play someone else, etc.). After the first call, they assumed I had already decided to cancel and left a rather unprofessional note on my reservation (photo), and after 1:00 p.m., I received a text message demanding payment for the canceled reservation, even though I hadn’t officially canceled it yet. During the second call before 2:00 PM, I was told that by acting this way, I was blocking the court for other players. Just before the scheduled time, practically all the courts were still available for booking (photos). I fully understand the situation—I paid for the court—but perhaps I was hoping for more tactful communication or a bit of human consideration. I like these courts and will likely continue to play there, but I’m left with a bad taste in my mouth.
