A great place to play tennis; the courts are in good condition

On Sundays, the student rate is 20 zlotys. I realize that’s not much, but I thought the staff would at least be cleaning the pond or disinfecting it until 9 a.m.—but no. It turned out their only job was to take people’s temperatures, and the lifeguards are only there to blow their whistles to warn people not to swim in the second part of the lake (Why? And there aren’t even any signs?) Sitting around and having a barbecue—that’s fine. But you can’t swim there—at most, you can dip your feet in. At my height of 165, the water comes up to my shoulders at the deepest point, and even then, you’re constantly kicking up nasty algae or fish with your feet. There are a lot of kids; the swans hiss at them; there’s poop everywhere, and of course, it hasn’t been cleaned up. It’s a strange place—it opens at 9:00 a.m., but the line started forming at 8:20 a.m. Because there’s no space, people are literally sitting on top of each other.
